Had a great experience. Went for lunch with two of my friends while we were in the area. The server was attentive and the cafe appeared clean.
Everyone loved their food! It was also surprisingly reasonably priced. I had the dipped chicken sandwich and it was SOO good. Would absolutely recommend.
One and Done!
$18.48 + tip for: Caprese grilled cheese, hamburger and fries. Horrible flavor and barely warm.
We were told to take a seat. No one left the two regulars at the counter to walk a menu over - I finally walked up and grabbed one.
Another regular walked in, received a warm greeting And a beverage prior to us getting Any attention...
I understand that the Regular, repeat customers pay the bills Regularly - but tourist travel can provide cash flow, too - step up your game!
Photo shows the split. My wife and I commonly order different meals to share and compare - twice the disappointment this time!!
The Flying Goat was such a fantastic stop for breakfast before heading to Bryce National Park. We all ordered a variety of foods (pancakes, stuffed french toast, chicken fried steak) and coffee, which was hot and delicious! All the food was amazing and the portions were huge! We even bought a couple souvenir mugs. After stopping at some really disappointing eateries, this one was a very pleasant surprise. We will be back!
I'm absolutely happy that we went here. Got the Western BBQ burger, not sure of the name (while writing this). I'm from Indiana and try to visit Utah every year. I will be back through and will definitely be stopping back in. Great service, good prices.
Really good breakfast and coffee. Have to get the cinnamon roll!!! The food was really good and I really liked the coffee. My wife got country fried chicken with gravy and i got the breakfast burrito. I will say I wish they seasoned the eggs or hash browns in the burrito because without the salsa they give you, the burrito is a little bland. But as far as the ratio of eggs to bacon to hash browns and cheese, it’s a really good burrito and I would recommend! Just a little more seasoning lol the country fried chicken was really good and the gravy is a good pepper gravy. Now the cinnamon roll is the best I’ve had in a long time!! You have to try it warmed up. All in all, great place to get something to eat!!
Perched right on the Main Street of Panguitch, Utah, The Flying Goat Cafe offers a delightful pit stop with a dollop of quirky charm for those on their travels. We chanced upon this café while heading home from Lake Powell and were immediately drawn to its fun, offbeat aura.
In true small-town fashion, the cafe is adorned with an indoor "stuffed animal goat farm". And here's the amusing catch - lay a finger on any one of them, and you've "adopted" it and must buy it! This quirky little detail certainly adds a distinctive touch, making the place all the more memorable.
The tempo of service is unhurried, like a leisurely stroll down memory lane. While some might find this slow, we found it rather charming, adding to the laid-back, throwback atmosphere. But fair warning - if you're in a rush, this might not be your ideal spot.
Now, let's talk about their food. Their fries deserve a special mention - they are perfectly breaded, delivering a delightful crunch with every bite. While their burger was average, it came in just right for our much-needed lunch break. However, the star of the show was their BLT, where the bacon was crisp to perfection, making it a standout choice for your meal.
As for the amenities, the café has clean bathrooms, though they are single occupancy. So during peak times, you may have to wait a bit, as we did. But this small-town cafe's charm more than compensates for such minor inconveniences.
In conclusion, the Flying Goat Cafe is a quaint and charming spot that offers a unique dining experience filled with fun surprises. So, if you're passing through Panguitch, do drop in for their amazing breaded fries and the perfectly crisped BLT, all while soaking in their distinctive, relaxed ambiance. And who knows, you might just end up adopting a stuffed goat!
Amazing little cafe for morning breakfast to evening dinner. I loved the food and the staffs are very helpful and cordial. This little cafe is very popular among the tourists and locals. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Parking could be an issue sometimes.
Stopped for breakfast on the way to Bryce Canyon. Friendly staff and OMG I got such delicious gluten-free pancakes with banana and Nutella ❤️ thank you!
